an information and networking event for the next generation of female physicians
Heart disease is the most common cause of death for American women. However, despite the gains that women have made in medical school graduations rates over the past two decades, women remain significantly underrepresented in cardiology. Through targeted outreach to diverse and intellectually talented high school girls in greater Pittsburgh, we hope to cultivate an interest in cardiology and develop a mentorship program for potential future female cardiologists.
